Situated in the heart of Toronto’s Discovery District and at the head of hospital row, the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus is the University of Toronto’s premier space for creating new companies, jobs and solutions to the world’s biggest challenges. Schwartz Reisman West, the west tower of the complex, is now open—and Schwartz Reisman East will follow in the development’s next phase. Once complete, the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus will house the country’s largest concentration of student- and faculty-led startups, harnessing the university’s research-driven entrepreneurial spirit for the benefit of Canada and the world.

💰 180 000 $ pour la recherche !

Une équipe de l’IRSST a obtenu un financement de #WorkSafeBC et #Mitacs pour développer une méthode de laboratoire dédiée à l’analyse de la pipérazine.

🔬 Pourquoi la pipérazine ?
Utilisée dans les revêtements, les produits pharmaceutiques et les technologies de captage du carbone, elle est aussi un sensibilisant respiratoire et cutané lié à des risques comme l’asthme professionnel.

🎯 Objectif du projet
Ce projet, en cours jusqu’en #2026, vise à fournir une méthode fiable pour mieux protéger les travailleurs et répondre aux exigences réglementaires du #Québec et de la Colombie-Britannique.
